Empowering Futures

Women empowerment is a core objective of KVDA. In this regard, KVDA provided transportation facility for female Kalash students to travel from Chitral to Lahore and back, enabling them to appear for entry tests at FC College & University (FCCU) Lahore. Mr. Ahmad Ali, Chairman of the KVDA Board, received the students in Lahore, while Mr. Akram, Assistant Director of Culture, KVDA, accompanied them during their travel.

FCCU has announced a fully funded scholarship program for female students in various faculties. Many male and female students from Chitral are also studying at FC College & University (FCCU) Lahore. Mr. Tashfeen Ali Yaftali vice president Gilgit Baltistan & Chitral Council FCCU were also instrumental in this regard. Best of luck to the students!
