Kalash Women Showcase Heritage at Chitral Expo

The Two-Day Chitral Expo, successfully concluded and organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), featured a significant initiative by the Kalash Valleys Development Authority (KVDA). KVDA sponsored seven dedicated stalls for Kalash women exhibitors with the goal of economically and commercially empowering local women and promoting the unique products of the Kalash valleys to national and international markets.

The stalls were visited by Mr. Minhas Uddin, Director General of KVDA, and Mr. Harir Shah, Member of the KVDA Board, highlighting the Authority’s commitment to sustainable livelihood and cultural promotion for the Kalash community under the umbrella of a major national trade body.
