Official notification of Habitat plans, Capital investment Plan and Hazard profile Atlas of kalash Valleys
During the 15th Board Meeting, the Kalash Valleys Development Authority (KVDA) officially approved key strategic documents that will guide the sustainable development of the Kalash Valleys. These include:
Habitat Planning & Design Report for the Kalash Valleys – A comprehensive blueprint for infrastructure, housing, and community planning, aligned with local needs and cultural heritage.
Capital Investment Plan (CIP) – A roadmap for targeted investments in infrastructure, tourism, education, health, and livelihood initiatives across the valleys.
Hazard Profile of the Kalash Valleys – An assessment identifying natural and human-made risks, enabling effective disaster preparedness and risk mitigation strategies.
KVDA extends its heartfelt thanks to AKAH, whose team, with support from the Danish Embassy, completed these documents and officially handed them over to KVDA.
These documents will now guide KVDA in implementing initiatives that prioritize public welfare, community resilience, and cultural preservation.
