Strengthening Sustainable Energy: First Community Dialogue in Rumbur

In line with the “Solutions for the Kalash Valleys” initiative, the first community dialogue on the EU-funded micro-hydel project implemented by SRSP was held at a local hotel in Rumbur Valley. The session was attended by SRSP’s DPM, Social Sector officials, and community elders.

On the directives of the Director General KVDA, the Secretary VC participated as KVDA’s focal person, briefing participants on the Authority’s Strategic Roadmap and its future implementation. He also highlighted the importance of community ownership for ensuring long-term sustainability of completed projects.

KVDA remains committed to supporting regional development through close coordination with all line departments and NGOs.
